Herbal Medicine: Gordolobo

Gordolobo or Mullein is most known for it's powerful healing in the lungs. It has been used for centuries in Mexico and other Latin American countries mainly as an expectorant (expelling mucus or phlegm from the lungs). Gordolobo treats bronchial asthma, coughs, sore throat, and sneezing.

How To Use:

It is normally made as a tea from the flowers and stalks. Bring 2 cups of Spring water to a boil and steep 1-2 teaspoons of Gordolobo for about 10-15 minutes. Serve with a tablespoon of agave if necessary. Gordolobo has a very mild or neutral taste and is palatable.
